I like the expressions, but how'd they get dirty faces without getting the rest of their stuff a mess?
I also find that hair style cool. I don't know why, but it always was a fasinating period.

I like all the photos you've taken in this series but it seems somewhat unbelievable that someone during WWII would have a tatoo on their neck. Those sorts of things were HIGHLY frowned upon in those days.
